Poster for the play “Pitbull” at the Bellevue Lunchtheater. A slightly absurd play written by Annemarie Slotboom. For the concept and the photo shoot, lead actress Jacqueline Boot was depicted fighting with a dog over a piece of meat. It turned out that Jacqueline was afraid of dogs, something we didn’t find out until the day of the photo shoot. Fortunately, the dog, Mystic, was actually a gentle, good-natured dog in real life. Still, I’m very glad Jacqueline had the courage to do this. The photo was taken by photographer Arjan Benning, with help from Dogs Unlimited and Gerben Kruk. Made at BuroRuSt
